So just what is Burlesque??
So much more then just a movie starring Cher and Christina...
Traditional Burlesque has been seen as an offshoot of Vaudiville often comprised of many and varied elements, including but not limited to Dancing, Singing, Choruslines, Comedy, Emcees and Variety acts.
Burlesque is NOT just about the striptease. In reality Burlesque, "in the beginning, didn't even have THAT. There were scantily clad women, sure, but "stripping" came along later... after a mistake. It wasn't planned, it just happened". The mistake in question being a wardrobe malfunction in the form of a broken zipper.
Champagne Burlesque embraces the traditional elements (including the scantily clad women) to produce a fun and entertaining show.
Each show runs at approx 2 hrs and includes a main meal- $38 per person. (buy 1 get 1 free, vaild on this show till 31/10/13). Choose from traditional, Hawaiian or Mexican Chicken Parmigianas, served with chips and salad, (vegetarian and special dietary options available with prior notice)
